Have drinks with your friends, family, date or coworkers while playing lawn games, learning about seals, otters and beavers, trying out local food carts and supporting the zoo.
Each happy hour features a different animal theme and September 5 will focus on slippery characters such as otters, seals and beavers. Keepers will be at the events explaining how these animals and their habitats are under threat, and find out what simple actions humans can take to help.
Visitors who are 21+ can enjoy a zoo experience with dates, friends or family at an adults-only event. Having cocktails at the zoo isn't just fun, it helps raise awareness and support for the zoo's mission of creating a better future for wildlife through its animal welfare, education, and conservation programs.
Tickets are $24.95 per person, $19.95 for Oregon Zoo members. Happy hour tickets will include zoo admission, one drink ticket, lawn games, photo ops, keeper talks and crafty activities. Guests can ride the train and carousel for an additional charge.
Local food carts and breweries will be at the event, along with wine and signature snacks and cocktails. Visit oregonzoo.org/happy
