Join us at the zoo for Twilight Tuesdays and enjoy reduced admission
Where can you go to eat dinner outdoors, sample local beers, listen to live music and let your kids run around or try crafty activities—all while hanging out with crepuscular creatures like lions, tigers and bears? The Oregon Zoo has set aside three summer evenings when families, coworkers, groups of friends or dates can come and enjoy everything the zoo has to offer (and more) from 5 to 8 p.m. for just $5 a ticket.
Twilight Tuesdays offer guests the chance to experience the magic of summer evenings at the zoo for a reduced admission price. In addition to all the zoo usually has to offer, Twilight Tuesdays will also include live music, fami...ly activities and games, extra food carts and local beer and wine.
The ZooGuides team will host crafty activities, ZooTeens will be educating guests about palm oil at Red Ape Reserve and our community partners such as the Nature Conservancy, U.S. Forest Service/Smokey Bear, Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District, West Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation, ZooGuide ECO Program, Oregon Bee Project, Portland'5, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Master Gardener and Metro Parks & Nature will be hosting booths at the events. Keepers will be talking about some of the zoo's inhabitants and how humans can take small actions to help the animals thrive.
Twilight Tuesdays are open to people of all ages. The carousel and train will be offering rides for an additional Come out to the zoo for this special evening of entertainment and you'll find that many animals are more active at dusk.
Admission is $5 per person after 4 p.m., and free for zoo members. Online tickets aren't an option for this event.
