We are bringing speakers, community organizers, academics, researchers, and activists together in a forum to explore the concept of futurity in terms that are liberatory, egalitarian, anti-racist, anti-patriarchal, and decolonized. There will be a diversity of presenters to create a vision of a better world that combines all time: future, past and present… because our survival depends on our ability to travel through it all and get the pieces that we lost. We will be building on knowledge and celebrating futurism through collective understanding and creativity, art, media and music — a futurism that is not disconnected from it's past, even when the continuum has been disrupted; a futurism that is stronger because of its past.
