POMPEII, OREGON is a silent feature-length film comprised of still drawings, inter-titles, and continuous original music, a hybrid of early cinema and the graphic novel («kinographic novel»). This dark story is narrated and drawn by the main character, a watch repair man convinced his wife is having an affair. The film revolves around his memories of his honeymoon in Pompeii, Italy, and his projections of jealousy and paranoia into his daily life in Portland. Adult themes and sexual imagery.
