Clark College -- Vancouver, Washington
1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver, Washington 98663
The Activities Programming Board (APB) hosts Matthew Erlich of the Holocaust Center for Humanity as he describes the journey and survival of his mother, an Auschwitz survivor.
The event is free and open to the public.
Erlich’s mother, Felicia Lewkowicz, was born in Krakow, Poland in 1923. She survived the Nazis’ ethnic cleansing of Jews by assuming a false identity. When authorities caught her, she was sent to Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen.
