For those new to meditation, Sandra and Claire are facilitating a free meditation group at New Renaissance! Sandra and Claire will offer basic instruction in the accessible technique of watching the breath to quiet mental chatter, reduce stress, relax the body, and uplift the spirit. We will alternate between practicing short meditations together and opening up the space for us to process our experiences and ask questions. Meditation is one of the best things you can do for your overall wellbeing, and a group setting can be instrumental in focusing your practice and receiving support. Feel free to join us no matter your experience level, belief system, or background. All are welcome!
Sandra has been meditating for over 20 years. She can often be found sitting at The Movement Center and has also been sighted at the New Thought Center for Spiritual Living. Claire has been meditating for 14 years. In 2016, she traveled to India to deepen her practice and learn more about Eastern spirituality. She regularly meditates at home and with her spiritual community of coworkers at New Ren.
