We are so excited to bring you a long-awaited collaboration and a one-of-a-kind deeply restorative event. You will be uplifted & enriched with Ecstatic Meditative Kirtan with Luz Helena Florez, pampered & rejuvenated with a healing Sound Bath with Joshua Stoddard, and nourished & delighted with Sacred Summit treats created and served with love by Dario Barone.
The Shakti Experience is an Ecstatic Meditative Kirtan led by Luz Helena Florez, it’s both an invocation of Divine Presence and a musical journey back to the heart. Kirtan is the singing of ancient mantras with the intention for it to be a vehicle for self-realization. Simply stated, mantra is one of the most powerful ways to generate Shakti-Prana or healing life force energy. When sung in a group the energy is amplified with each person supporting the creation of a unified field.
The Shakti Experience is created with deep intention and space for Spirit to come forth through every participant through the medium of song and dance. We focus on spontaneously moving with and gradually increasing the energy of the group to build to an ecstatic state of connection with the One. We honor everyone’s contribution to the container and encourage singing, clapping, dancing and stillness. Other people have described our gatherings as “healing events that support deep transformation”.
432HZ SOUND BATH
Unwind and relax in a peaceful atmosphere filled with calming sounds that resonate in harmony with your mind, body and spirit. Sound bath sessions balance the body and mind by applying specific vibrations and frequencies that create a harmonic space for healing.
Joshua performs each sound bath with the intention of providing a grounding experience to leave you feeling centered and recharged. His angelic soundscapes are created through a stream of consciousness process using guitar, voice, and quartz crystal sound bowls. Joshua combines his passion and over 20 years experience as a musician with his love to provide a space of peace and healing for others.

Luz Helena Florez lived in Nepal and India for two years, immersing herself fully in the culture, traditions and teachings of all things Yoga under the guidance of a Nepalese Yoga Master. She is an intuitive facilitator and has a natural gift for creating a safe nest in which people can open their hearts and voices. Luz Helena teaches yoga, hosts Kirtan and offers private classes.
Christian Douglas fell in love with Kirtan chanting while studying yoga and meditation in the Indian Ashram described in “Eat, Pray, Love”. It was there that he bought his two-headed drum (pakhawaj) and learned to provide rhythm for the chants.
Ari Shine has been playing violin since the age of 4 and is so firmly rooted in devotion that it is felt in her presence and we are so grateful to have her joining us in creating this sacred space.
Majo grew up in the Hare Krishna community and learned to play the kartals from a very young age and continued playing while in India for a year.
$30 in advance, $35 at the door
Your ticket includes both sound offerings, locally hand-crafted organic snacks and beverage from Sacred Summit during our intermission and a steam bath following the event for those who wish to participate. It takes many hands to create such an offering, ticket revenue helps cover space rental, event production costs and supports the artists in sharing their healing gifts with the world.
Please bring your own towel if you wish to steam or towels provided for a $2 donation.
