Join us for the World Premiere of the single and music video «Nasty Woman» (recorded and filmed in Portland, OR).
Written as a protest call to what's happened in our country since the 2016 election, local musicians Ara Lee & Beth Wood decided the best way to respond to hateful rhetoric was to reimagine it — for the benefit of our local community. Over 50 local musicians, actors, and citizens participated in the project, spearheaded by producer Steven Lee Tracy and directed by womens documentarian Josh Sales with the help of producer Ericka Tyche Heidrick. 100% of profits from the download of the song will be donated to PPCW.
Come at 7 for cocktails and appetizers, followed by a powerful evening of music from the performers who played on the song. Co-writers Ara Lee and Beth Wood will be joined by local favorites Marilyn T. Keller, Bre Gregg, Shelly Rudolph, Paul Brainard, Dan Gildea, Steven Skolnik, and many more. We couldn't be more proud to have been chosen as the recipients not only for the sale of the single but also the donation of time and energy from each of the performers for the benefit of PPCW.
$25-$75 sliding scale donation requested. Tickets availabe at the link above or at the door.
