Fabián Salas — world-renowned tango teacher, dancer, and choreographer. He is the organizer of the Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino (CITA) — the world's most important annual tango event, which brings together in Buenos Aires all the tango lovers, practitioners, and the most representative artists of Argentine Tango: Fabián Salas was a member of the original cast (1994-1995) of the award-winning (Best Musical) argentine tango show «Gotán», and also performed in the stage show «El Patio de la Morocha» (1993-1994) at the «Teatro Municipal General San Martin» in Buenos Aires. In 1997, he became one of the three principal dancers in the award-winning movie — «The Tango Lesson». Tireless researcher and maestro, remarkable dancer and connoisseur of the secrets of tango — Fabián Salas has brought light to old beliefs and opened new ways in the conception of the dance, creating an unmistakable style of dancing the Tango. He is acclaimed as a teacher and performer by tango lovers around the world.
In 2001, Fabián Salas created a series of instructional videos that teach authentic Argentine Tango in 10 easy lessons. In the last ten years, these videos have become the golden standard for teaching the Argentine Tango to beginners and to ballroom dancers. The lessons are clear, playful, and easy to follow. Tango dancing reduces stress and allows for an escape form the pressures of everyday life. Tango brings energy and fulfillment, and you will enjoy the process of learning as well. Tango is an intimate dance — it eliminates the disctance between a man and a woman. Tango can be fast and slow, simple and complex, sensual, passionate, dramatic, joyful, and much much more. Tango is for all ages — it is never too late to learn the greatest dance of all time.
