Woody Guthrie Place is a 64-unit new construction affordable housing development in Lents urban renewal district at the intersection of SE 91st Ave and SE Reedway Street.
Woody Guthrie Place will be one of the first mixed-income workforce housing projects to be built in the rapidly growing Lents Town Center. Residents households can have qualifying incomes ranging from 30% to 100% of Area Median Income. 15 units have Project-Based Section 8 vouchers. Public funding partners include: Home Forward, Prosper Portland, and the Portland Housing Bureau. Portland General Electric's renewable energy fund is supporting a solar photo voltaic system and electric vehicle charging stations. The project will be LEED gold or higher.
Join elected officials from Prosper Portland, Metro, Portland Housing Bureau, Multnomah County, Oregon, and Multnomah County Health Department along with community members and ROSE board and staff for our Woody Guthrie Groundbreaking Event. Construction begins this September 2017 and completion is anticipated in November of 2018.
